The Collective Design student group assisted our professors with the School of Art's first poster design exhibition, showcasing posters by students, program alumni, and regional creatives. The theme centered how we saw this region, this space, as a growing design environment and community.

My poster approach considered the idea of “flyover country”—with Russian Constructivist influences and subtle textures photography from Taiwan. I sought to celebrate what I’ve learned from a diverse, innovative cohort: a professor, advisor, and mentor from New England; friends and peers who grew up in the area and those from Bolivia, Barbados, and California; and the experiences and opportunities granted by such interactions.

With thanks to the University of Arkansas School of Art design faculty: David Charles Chioffi, Marty Maxwell Lane, and Tom Hapgood. In collaboration with Joe Burns, Brianna Jenkins, Jacob Meisenbacher, Livvy Pierce, Courtney Ulrich-Smith, Randall A. Wade, and fellow Collective Design students.
